Suprisingly enough, the writing test was easy-peasy and I like to believe I did swell on it. The prompt was somewhat "ish-ish*;" it was to write a letter to the editor of a local newspaper on the effects of cell phone. Of course I did advantages of the "electronic buddies" instead of the mainstream disadvantages. My 3 advantages were as followed: 1. Save your life (I used personal experience, observations) 2. Entertainment when bored (personal experience, connections with the audience, observations) 3. Organize your all-around life (personal experience, obervations, great points)
My English teacher was very prompto on training us in using our "voice" and, honestly, my voice sounds a hell of a lot like an infomercial. Oh well, I'm just glad it's over with. It did make the day go by very quickly. (8:36-11:00)
:)
*ish-ish: adjective-very good and bad; bland; vague. synonym: so-so
